Chelsea Football Club has a rich history of silverware, especially in the recent past which during this time it has exceeded the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool Fc to name a few in the number of trophies won. Their hunger to win more has made them win Fifa Club World Cup for the very first time in their club's history ( pictured: Chelsea players celebrating ).

Although all seems to be ticking well inside the club but has come at the expense of the dismissal of many high profiled managers with the recent one being Frank Lampard their club legend as a player who was the last one to be dismissed from the dugout. This strategy by Chelsea and led by the owner Roman Abramovich has paid off on his side as Chelsea Fc remain among the top-flight football club in the premier league. With the recent appointment of Tomas Tuchel( pictured below right) who has carried on with their success story.

The German's tenure which is less than 12 months so far has guided Chelsea Fc to lift their first champions league since 2010 another super cup to add to their trophy cabinet not forgetting the Fifa club world cup. This all has shielded redeemed him after facing fierce criticism from pundits and football fans which led to the dismissal from managing Paris Saint Germain  Fc after being under intense pressure to deliver the champions league for the Paris club.

with the current campaign ongoing Tomas Tuchel and his team started 2021/22 started the premier league season on a high leading the premier league table in the same period during the month of August, September, and October with him bagging premier league manager of the month during the same period. However, things have turned around so far after going through a tough spell which so the likes of Chilwell, Kante being sidelined with injuries the top position in the premier league has shifted hands as Manchester City leads the way. Their title hopes which we can't rule out due to the presence of quality players within the squad but have since deteriorated not as they were when the season began. 

what's next for Tuchel and his players? with the Carabao cup already lost to the hands of Liverpool Fc in a penalty shoot-out at Wembley stadium, Chelsea still has in their site the FA  cup which they last won this trophy in 2018. will Chelsea Fc turn their eyes for this FA cup or they will focus to lift a consecutive champions league trophy a fit only achieved by the likes of Real Madrid, Ajax, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Liverpool, and Barcelona?
